Bird Feeder Garden Sign

 

 

Supplies
• (1) Stonecraft 8" square vinyl mold
• (1) 3.5 pound bag of Stonecraft Mix
• Metal stake about 18" long and 1/4" diameter
• (1) 3" Terra cotta flower pot tray
• Stained glass, gems or stones for decorating
• Sharp tipped scissors
• Mixing paddle
• Craft stick or pencil for Lettering
• Mixing bucket and measuring cup
• Bird seed

 

Instructions

 

1. Using the tip of your scissors, punch a small hole in the base of your vinyl mold.
2. Prepare Stonecraft Mix as per instructions and pour into mold. Insert metal stake through the hole and into the mold about 2 - 3". Use something to prop the stake so it remains centered in the mold.
3. Place the terra cotta tray in the mold about 3" from the base so that it is perpendicular to the mold. Scoop a bit of the mix as you place the tray and gently pat the mix around the tray to shore it up.
4. Draw your lettering on and place stones and any other decorative pieces.
5. Wait at least 24 hours before you move the stone. Then take scissors and cut around stake to remove the mold. The stone can then be scrubbed with a plastic brush to remove any stone residue.
6. Then just place the stake in the ground and add bird seed.
